Professor Melissa's Cruise Deals
Hey there, I'm Melissa, a university professor and cruise enthusiast who cruises monthly. The top question I get asked is "how do you cruise so often?" There are two ways I do it. One is through cruise casino deals. The other way is by scouring the internet for the best cruise deals, which I share with my friends here on this page.
Top Cruise Deals of the Week
Short Sailings
Dec. 2024-April 2025
Cruising is crazy expensive right now, but I just booked a friend on a smoking December 2024 last minute deal on Celebrity Cruises. They have some great pricing for short getaways this December-April for under $400, and for some dates, even a balcony room can be had for around that price. For example, one 4-dayer to Key West and Nassau out of Ft. Lauderdale starts at just $376 per person.
Island Overnight
February 2025
I'm not the biggest fan of MSC, but I love their prices, private island, and newer class of ships, so this is one I recommend. It includes not one, but 3 days at Ocean Cay, including an overnight which is such a unique and fun experience. It's also a bargain starting at $779 per person for some February dates and is 10 nights on Seashore, which is a gorgeous ship. It also includes calls at Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Nassau.
Alaskan Adventure
May 2025
Now is the time to start planning for 2025 if an Alaskan cruise is on your bucket list (and if you love cruising, it should be!). Princess Cruises has some competitive pricing right now for May 2025 sailings, which is a great time to visit, starting at just $435 per person for a balcony room (and you'll definitely want a balcony on this one) for short sailings out of Vancouver, and Royal Caribbean has some good deals out of Seattle.

Amazon Deals
Amazon is currently providing promotional pricing on cruise essentials, like non-surge extension cords, cruise-specific luggage tags, luggage, compression cubes and more.
Resort Day Passes
Instead of booking expensive cruise line excursions, I always go on my own with independent ones (but before doing this be sure to know the pros and cons of doing your own thing). My go-to for tropical locations is a day pass at a resort, which sometimes provides private beach access and other times all-inclusives.
Cancun All-Inclusives
If an all-inclusive experience is your thing there are some good off-season deals that can be had for resorts in Cancun, Costa Mujeres, Punta Cana, and Jamaica, and some of these packages even include airfare from most major US cities.
We have a team of travel gurus to help you with all your travel needs, including land-based vacations, all-inclusives, and excursions.
